FLOOR TILING ...
We can assist you with choosing the right tile to give your home the optimum look. | |
As wall and floor tile specialists, there is a process carried out before we begin tiling. The floor area is assessed and prepared, making sure there are no rough spots that could alter the look of the floor. The measuring of the floor is extremely important and extra care is taken, using a marking line or laser level. We take into account borders and picture tiles and that the tiles will be correctly positioned and cut evenly to give your floor a polished look. Also special care is taken with ceramic and
porcelain
and stone as they expand and contract with thermal and moisture changes in the environment. The floor area is kept clean at all times. |

Some times when mould and moisture gather in the grout between tiles, using harsh chemicals and scrubbing won’t clean grout completely. The safer and cleaner option is removing the grout. When considering your budget and your not quite ready for a complete renovation then mini makeovers are ideal. Whether you are selling your home and want to freshen and brighten up your bathroom or you are moving out of your rental property and want to leave the bathroom in the same condition as when you first moved in.

MINI BATHROOM MAKEOVER
THE PROCESS...
|
First the old grout is removed carefully to ensure not to chip or crack the tiles. Drop sheets are used to cover the floor area to catch all the grout chips .then the tiles are regrouted starting from the highest point working downward. The tiles are then sponged down with water. The join between the first row of the tile and the shower base or tub is chalked and fitted with a silicone based adhesive.
Allow 24 hrs to completely dry before you reuse your bathroom.
